The mannerism and ultimate method is that which Allah revealed.
That method begins with 'Ilm and returning to the Qur'an (and by extension the Sunnah). It is more wholly and inclusive than what is succintly mentioned by the poster.
A detraction in what is noted by the poster is not intended. But a re-assessment is required.
Totally agree with this. We should never go contrary to the guidance of the Quraan & Sunnah. The points above were what I had taken away from those 10 days. In effect only one lay mans insight. Which isn't a balanced veiw of all the subject matter which was covered in those 10 days. Your input is apprecicated and a good reminder of starting with the correct foundations.
I believe this method needs to be redefined.
